When young demon, Leo Cutler, commits treason against Hell for saving a life he was supposed to help end, punishment for his betrayal is on the menu…

Sure to be served cold by his overlord Christian, it’s not for fear of retaliation that makes Leo renounce Hell.

It is because he has fallen in love with the near-victim, a human, Shade Lewis.

Winning his freedom will not be easy, especially when the test involves going through Shade’s murderous ex-boyfriend Darryl Kite, who has now, somehow, become a demon as well.

With Shade’s love compelling Leo forward, will he discover he has the courage to give up an eternal life? Facing the many obstacles that Christian will surely have waiting for him?

Or will it all prove to be too much forcing him back into the confines of Hell?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Michael Dean was born in Mountain View California in 1976, raised in Tucson Arizona, and now resides just outside of Dallas Texas.

Michael’s adventurous style has led him to start and run a successful small business for the past ten years, as well as writing YA novels and playing music. His passion for music and the pen collided when he was younger, causing him to pick up a guitar and write his own music. That drive led him to starting his own band, getting it played on regional radio stations, even competing in Ozzy Osbourne’s battle for Ozzfest in New York City.

Still just as driven, now he prefers quieter days to himself, thus giving him time to improve on his main passion, writing. Drift, a YA paranormal fantasy, is a bi-product of that alone time. He hopes that when a reader picks up his works, he or she will love it just as much as he did writing it.

Review for Beastly by Alex Flinn

Book Cover Image

Beastly

by Alex Flinn

A great adaption of the Beauty and the Beast..

A contemporary take on the classic..

The movie version of 'Beastly' caught my attention first..

But let me tell you, the 'book is always better than the movie'

I never expected this book to be this cool and funny! Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite fairy tales. That's why in the first place I picked this book for a read. A fairy tale re-telling, this was a first for me. I have watched movies where the fairy tales like 'Snowhite and Cinderella being retold. But I never got a chance to read any 're-tellings' before.

The way Alex Flinn narrates the story of Beast is so good! She simply puts the beast in this century! The beast is a boy (not a prince but the son of a celebrity!) A Beast who uses lap top and buys things online is so funny and somehow so real! yes, so real!.

The witch is my favorite! :) Unlike the old fairy tale the witch in this book/century is so good! she has 99 out of 100 from me! :)
Kendra The Witch Rockss! :D And, hey Beastly is the first book from the series 'Kendra Chronicles Series'. The second book in the series is 'Bewitching'.

The movie version is worth watching. Alex pettyfer has done a great job in making 'beastly' perfect. The movie version of the beast is not hairy but a little scary. I mean, in the book the beast/Kyle has hair all over his body plus he has long nails and scary teeth; and no lips. Well, in the movie we can see a different but good version of beastly. A beast with six pack, not so scary ;)

After reading the book 'Beastly', I was not so into accepting Venessa Hudgens as Lindy. Its because I imagined a different Lindy when I was reading the book. But then somehow I liked her in the movie :)

Oceans of Red: Demon Revolution by Willow Cross

OCEANS OF RED: DEMON REVOLUTION by WILLOW CROSS

Book Description:

***Demon Revolution is the compilation of Oceans of Red volumes 1 through 3 for print purposes, but is being made available in e-book format also.***

By 2015 the streets of Los Angeles have transformed from a thriving metropolis into a hostile world ravaged by demons bent on assimilating the human race. Standing between this total apocalypse of humanity and their chance for survival is the last of the United States military. Hidden within a top secret bunker, and lead by Admiral Gary Martin and his three children, this remnant wages war against the demonic regime. When the Admiral disappears, his daughter Remy chooses to take the lead and continue the battle to regain their world. Trained to think on her feet and kill if the situation requires, she is aided by her older brother and younger sister. But when an experiment goes terribly wrong, they discover that to save the human race, they may have to end it. Is there a line between black and white when you live in an Ocean of Red?

Review:

Don’t you just love the fact that when the first book ends you can jump right to the second one? Well you can do that here! Oceans of Red: Demon Revolution is all the three volumes of the Oceans of Red series in one. Follow Remy, Greg and Shane as they attempt to regain their world which has been taken over by demons. Along with a handful of what’s left of the Military they attempt to defeat the demonic forces.
But there are things and powers unknown to them. Remy the protagonist of the series has to deal with a lot of things and make a lot of tough choices. Come aboard this roller coaster of a book that has the perfect balance of action, comedy and surprises. This book is a different take on the whole dystopian post apocalyptic scene and is one of my favorite books ever! Volume One was an amazing start, Volume Two was better with more secrets unveiled and more Oceans of Red goodness, but Volume Three has been by far my favorite!! And I absolutely love Willow Cross’ writing style. It just flows so beautifully and pulls you into the Oceans of Red universe.
Action, Magic and Feels... (Yes I said feels :P ) This book has it all... :D

Review:

Let me just say this first...
W-O-W!!!!!!

This series is one of my favorite series EVER! And it just keeps getting better!! This has been my favorite so far in the series.

In Volume Three Remy has to make tough choices that will require her to make even greater sacrifices and take tougher decisions. New characters, new situations and a beautifully written book. What else could you ask for?

I don't know how she does it but she does. Willow Cross yet again manages to pull us into the Oceans of Red universe full of magic and action. In such few pages it makes a huge impact. I love, love, love this series and I absolutely love Willow Cross' writing style! I cannot say this enough times. Just get the book already!! :D

The worst part waiting for the next book! Boo!! LOL... xD

Review for Anna Dressed In Blood by Kendare Blake

ANNA DRESSED IN BLOOD (Anna,#1) by KENDARE BLAKE

The story of a ghost girl and a ghost hunter. (Don't think it is a cute romance, I would rather say it is #Spooky ;) )

My first thoughts.. Well, this can be the beginning of a typical paranormal romance..?A ghost hunter and a ghost girl... But Then comes Theseus Cassio Lowood with his athame and kick-ass attitude.First, I liked his name. "Theseus Cassio Lowood"Second, I started enjoying this book even though it was totally spooky!First, I liked his name. "Theseus Cassio Lowood"Second, I started enjoying this book even though it was totally spooky!

*Theseus Cassio Lowood (Cas)

(“I’m not a superhero,” I say. It’s an awful tag. It’s egotistical, and it doesn’t fit. I don’t parade around in spandex.” - Cas Lowood)A ghost hunter. who leads the same path his father led. His mother is a witch and they travel from one place to another in order to bust ghosts who make trouble for living people. The ghosts in this book are downright creepy!!! seriously! yuck!Anna is just like one if them, creepy with dark hair, dark veins all over her body and she wears this white dress dripping blood. But she also has this other face...Anyway I love both of her looks! she is one cool amazing angry ghost I like/love!.

*Anna Korlov (Anna Dressed in Blood)

(“She’s like Bruce Lee, the Hulk and Neo from The Matrix all rolled in to one.”)A dead girl.. Ghost girl..and she looks, well like a ghost. Not that I have seen any ghosts in my life but yes, Anna is a ghost; a girl who brutally killed in 1958 and has been killing people since after her death.

Can't say this book has no flaws but I love the characters, especially our ghost girl Anna. Its simply a well told tale you can immediately get caught up with. Its a ghost story but you are gonna laugh a lot too.Its "Spooky+Funny"
