Oceans of Red: Demon Revolution by Willow Cross

OCEANS OF RED: DEMON REVOLUTION by WILLOW CROSS

Book Description:

***Demon Revolution is the compilation of Oceans of Red volumes 1 through 3 for print purposes, but is being made available in e-book format also.***

By 2015 the streets of Los Angeles have transformed from a thriving metropolis into a hostile world ravaged by demons bent on assimilating the human race. Standing between this total apocalypse of humanity and their chance for survival is the last of the United States military. Hidden within a top secret bunker, and lead by Admiral Gary Martin and his three children, this remnant wages war against the demonic regime. When the Admiral disappears, his daughter Remy chooses to take the lead and continue the battle to regain their world. Trained to think on her feet and kill if the situation requires, she is aided by her older brother and younger sister. But when an experiment goes terribly wrong, they discover that to save the human race, they may have to end it. Is there a line between black and white when you live in an Ocean of Red?

Review:

Don’t you just love the fact that when the first book ends you can jump right to the second one? Well you can do that here! Oceans of Red: Demon Revolution is all the three volumes of the Oceans of Red series in one. Follow Remy, Greg and Shane as they attempt to regain their world which has been taken over by demons. Along with a handful of what’s left of the Military they attempt to defeat the demonic forces.
But there are things and powers unknown to them. Remy the protagonist of the series has to deal with a lot of things and make a lot of tough choices. Come aboard this roller coaster of a book that has the perfect balance of action, comedy and surprises. This book is a different take on the whole dystopian post apocalyptic scene and is one of my favorite books ever! Volume One was an amazing start, Volume Two was better with more secrets unveiled and more Oceans of Red goodness, but Volume Three has been by far my favorite!! And I absolutely love Willow Cross’ writing style. It just flows so beautifully and pulls you into the Oceans of Red universe.
Action, Magic and Feels... (Yes I said feels :P ) This book has it all... :D

Review:

Let me just say this first...
W-O-W!!!!!!

This series is one of my favorite series EVER! And it just keeps getting better!! This has been my favorite so far in the series.

In Volume Three Remy has to make tough choices that will require her to make even greater sacrifices and take tougher decisions. New characters, new situations and a beautifully written book. What else could you ask for?

I don't know how she does it but she does. Willow Cross yet again manages to pull us into the Oceans of Red universe full of magic and action. In such few pages it makes a huge impact. I love, love, love this series and I absolutely love Willow Cross' writing style! I cannot say this enough times. Just get the book already!! :D

The worst part waiting for the next book! Boo!! LOL... xD

Afterlife by Willow Cross' Blog Tour!! Review + Giveaway

Afterlife Blog Tour by Willow Cross

Book Blurb:
When a recently deceased ghost teams up with a vampire who has remained 17 for nearly 200 years, hilarity and chaos ensues.
The day William met Angie, encountering the girl of his dreams was the last thing on his mind. But after a chance meeting in the woods, she seemed to be the only thing he thought about. If he'd known in the beginning that her beauty masked a darker secret and a penchant for finding trouble that was second to none, he might have chosen a different path in the Afterlife.

Review:
Afterlife is the story companion to The Dark Gifts series.  Well I dunno what to write without giving away a whole lot! :P What I'll say is I love Willow Cross' style of writing and this is yet another book I adored. I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard while reading a book in a while. Afterlife just grabs your attention from the first page itself and keeps you hooked. Its interesting so very interesting to see how a Vampire and a Ghost become friends! I can’t wait to read Birthright now!! :D

Willow Cross resides in Arkansas with her husband, two children still young enough to live at home, an enormous cat named Bitsy, and a neurotic dog named Tank. Her home has been known to host the occasional ghost and several of her friends profess to be witches. Although she dearly loves Vampires and Werewolves, they are never invited for dinner.

Review For Oceans Of Red Volume Two

Oceans of Red Volume Two by Willow Cross

“This is the whole of existence. Many different dimensions all overlapping and occurring at the same time and place. In one dimension, the demons never arrived here. In another, they’ve always ruled. Multiple outcomes for the same event occurring right now, right here, just a layer above or below us...”

Oceans of Red Volume Two follows Remy as she sets out to discover who she truly is. In this part she learns more about herself and the powers she possesses. She must come to terms with what has been planned for her well before her time and what she must do to save the world she lives in, the world she knows. She faces things she never thought possible and yet there it was...
Another amazing tale about the post – apocalyptic world keeps you hooked to see what happens next..
There’s so much I want to say but can’t without giving out spoilers.. So I’ll just say enjoy another amazing piece of work by the talented Willow Cross!

Review for Oceans of Red: Volume One

Oceans Of Red Volume One – Willow Cross
Still breathing heavy, Greg watched his sister. “So much for no kill order. I’m pretty sure we weren’t supposed to bring grenades.”
Flashing him a smile, she answered, “Well there was definitely a don’t get killed order. I had to compromise.”

Oceans of Red is one of the fresh new takes on what would happen after the dreaded 21st December 2012 apocalypse scene. I loved how she ties together different paranormal scenes and still it somehow seems like it was meant to go together in the same story. The story is captivating and makes you want to flip the pages faster and see what happens next. The author just describes everything with such simplicity and detail that I could actually imagine the scenes in front of me. The characters are amazing! And the different point of views lets us see things differently. This book makes you have a double take and wonder if that’s what would actually happen during the apocalypse...
Well let’s just say I’ve found a new favorite author! I loved the way she describes everything in the book. And I can’t wait to read more from her!! :D
