"Sublimely creepy with a true Hoover pulse. I've been waiting on a thriller like this for years." Tarryn Fisher, New York Times bestselling author.

Verity, an all-new romantic thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, is available now!

Blurb:
Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish.

Lowen arrives at the Crawford home, ready to sort through years of Verity's notes and outlines, hoping to find enough material to get her started. What Lowen doesn't expect to uncover in the chaotic office is an unfinished autobiography Verity likely didn't intend for anyone to read. Page after page of bone-chilling admissions, including Verity's recollection of the night their family was forever altered.

Lowen decides to keep the manuscript hidden from Jeremy, knowing its contents would devastate the already grieving father. But as Lowen's feelings for Jeremy begin to intensify, she recognizes all the ways she could benefit if he were to read his wife's words. After all, no matter how devoted Jeremy is to his injured wife, a truth this horrifying would make it impossible for him to continue to love her.

Review for It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

Blurb:

SOMETIMES THE ONE WHO LOVES YOU IS THE ONE WHO HURTS YOU THE MOST

Lily hasn't always had it easy, but that's never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She's come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up - she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily's life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, and maybe even a little arrogant. He's also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily, but Ryle's complete aversion to relationships is disturbing.
As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan - her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

With this bold and deeply personal novel, Colleen Hoover delivers a heart-wrenching story that breaks exciting new ground for her as a writer. It Ends With Us is an unforgettable tale of love that comes at the ultimate price.

This book contains graphic scenes and very sensitive subject matter.

Review:
I think its so important that authors write books about things and issues that aren't usually discussed. I love Colleen Hoover and am so thankful to her for this book.

I am not going to mention much about the book because this book is one of those that you need to go in blind without any spoilers. But please note that this book might contain some triggers for some people.

I just want to say that this book was a roller-coaster of emotions. I have never had a complete 180° turn about any character in just one line as I have with this book. The emotions run high in this novel. I just want to thank Colleen again because this book lets us see behind the situation and lets us see why a certain character behaves a certain way.

Thank you for this eye-opener.

Series Review for Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher

Like most readers I hate cliffhangers. Never Never novellas had the worst cliffhangers ever! Since I just finished reading the finale for Never Never, I thought I'd post the whole series review together here.

Here's my reviews for Part I and II from Goodreads.

Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher

Blurb:
Best friends since they could walk.
In love since they were fourteen.
Complete strangers since this morning.

He’ll do anything to remember. She’ll do anything to forget.

Review:
AHHH!!! Sweet torture!!

I wish I'd have the patience to wait till the second book was out at least, but no I just had to read this book because the blurb was just that good!

All I can think of right now is how much I want the second book. Its got me all like:
description

Anyway... Back to the book. It was really good as per usual, loved the characters and the plot is really intriguing. Grab a copy and accompany me in the torturous wait for part 2!

Can't wait for the next book. Maybe they could release part 2 early as well? ;)

Never Never: Part Two by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher

Blurb:
“Never forget that I was your first real kiss. Never forget that you’ll be my last.
And never stop loving me between all of them.
Never stop, Charlie.
Never forget.”

Silas races against time as more truths unravel, while others twist tighter together. And now, the stakes are higher as Silas’ control slips and others begin to point fingers. Charlie is in trouble and he must be the one to bridge the chasm between their past and their present. Because somewhere between I love yous and Never Nevers and Never Agains, a truth they can't imagine, beckons to be found.

“Where are you, Charlie?”

Review:
Why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why?!?!

Okay now that its out of my system....
Never Never Part Two... I loved the book even though sometimes I feel like its way too short and leaves me with more questions than answers. But I still love it because of the sheer mystery and enigma of the whole situation. There are so many theories spinning around my head, so many questions, so many possibilities!

All the readers who love mystery with a dash of romance, who have a healthy curiosity and a lot of patience, YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Compelling, engaging, mind-boggling!

Okay now for the actual review for the book I read this year!

Never Never: Part Three by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher

Blurb:
Together, Silas Nash and Charlize Wynwood must look deeper into the past to find out who they were and who they want to be. With time ticking down, the couple are in a race to find the answers they need before they lose everything. Can they regain what they once had? And will it restore who they once were?

Review:
“Fate is the magnetic pull of our souls toward the people, places, and things we belong with.”

Do you believe in fate and destiny?
That is the question which will determine if you like this book or not.

The series started with a bang. I could not stop reading and I could not shut up about it. I have had lengthy discussions about this series since part one came out. Part two was a little bit disappointing because as I said earlier (ie in the review above :P ) that it left me with more questions than answers. But it had set up the stage for Part Three to be amazing and even more mind boggling.

I have to say that I was a little disappointed by this installment. I think I just expected it to go in a completely different direction, because there were just so many little clues that pointed towards a more complicated answer than what we got in the book. I expected it to be a little darker, and I probably would have liked it better for it. The series had such a great build up and maybe because I was expecting a completely different outcome, I was a bit let down by it.

It was like I was expecting a gut punch and all I got was a little tap. You know?

But that being said, I still adored the series. I loved the writing style and the characters. When you view your life as an outsider, without any prior knowledge about the people or worldly attachments, I think our whole perspective would change. This was what I found really interesting in this novella.

I liked the ending, it was a little cheesy/corny for my taste, but I think I can live with it.

If someone else has read this series, lets fangirl and discuss together!! Also if you haven't, and want to take a chance on it, read and then let's fangirl together! ;)

Till later beautiful people!

Review for November 9 by Colleen Hoover

Edited this now that I got back net access!
November 9 by Colleen  Hoover
Blurb:
Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.

Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?

Review:
"You'll never be able to find yourself if you're lost in someone else."

" She "loved me" in quotations
She kissed me in bold
I TRIED TO KEEP HER in all caps
She left with an ellipsis . . . "

It's been more than a month since I finished November 9, and I'm still not sure how to post a proper review (not that all my reviews make much sense to begin with :P )
The blurb will give you all that you need to know what the book is about. I don't want to repeat it. I'll go with this instead - Colleen Hoover always writes amazing characters and story lines that draw you in from the very beginning. Her stories are emotional, deep, butterflying beautiful, and just everything you'd want in a book.
November 9 is no different. With a strong story line that spans over a couple years we really get to see the two main characters - Fallon and Ben grow. They meet only once a year on the same day, you guessed it, on November 9. And you really get to see how these two have helped the other become better.
I knew there was an ultimate plot twist coming but I did NOT expect that! I had to put away the reader for a bit. Seriously.
I loved the characters. I adored the story. And as always I loved the writing style. Intense, Emotional, and Beautiful. Ms Hoover does it again.

PS: Do listen to the song released by Griffin Peterson - November 9. It just perfectly compliments the book!

Till later!

Review of Slammed by Colleen Hoover

Slammed by Colleen Hoover
Summary:
Following the unexpected death of her father, 18-year-old Layken is forced to be the rock for both her mother and younger brother. Outwardly, she appears resilient and tenacious, but inwardly, she's losing hope.

Enter Will Cooper: The attractive, 21-year-old new neighbor with an intriguing passion for slam poetry and a unique sense of humor. Within days of their introduction, Will and Layken form an intense emotional connection, leaving Layken with a renewed sense of hope.

Not long after an intense, heart-stopping first date, they are slammed to the core when a shocking revelation forces their new relationship to a sudden halt. Daily interactions become impossibly painful as they struggle to find a balance between the feelings that pull them together, and the secret that keeps them apart.
Review:
“Don't take life too seriously. Punch it in the face when it needs a good hit. Laugh at it.”
“Question everything. Your love, your religion, your passion. If you don't have questions, you'll never find answers.”

“I got schooled this year
by
a

boy.

A boy that I'm seriously, deeply, madly, incredibly, and undeniably in love with.
And he taught me the most important thing of all...

To put the emphasis
On life .”

One star for a beautiful story
Two for the enchanting characters
Three for making the story relate-able
And the fourth for the amazing "slams"....
I'd have given it another but I felt it was missing something
Maybe it was because it was too small?

I hope no one ran away because of the lame slam attempt :P

Ah I do love poetry.. And I loved how the author incorporated it into the book. Slammed is a beautifully written book. What I took away from the book (apart from the obvious) was this, WORDS ARE POWERFUL. They can make a statement, they can make you feel, they can make you laugh and they can break you down. Words are powerful and I believe that if used correctly and effectively it can bring a change in the world!

I can't believe I have written so many poems these past few weeks!
Maybe I'd post one of them here....

Review for Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

“The sky is always beautiful. Even when it's dark or rainy or cloudy, it's still beautiful to look at. It's my favourite thing because I know if I ever get lost or lonely or scared, I just have to look up and it'll be there no matter what...and I know it'll always be beautiful.”

“The things that knock you down in life are tests, forcing you to make a choice between giving in and remaining on the ground or wiping the dirt off and standing up even taller than you did before you were knocked down. I'm choosing to stand up taller.”

“Its real, Six. You can't get mad at a real ending. Some of them are ugly. Its the fake happily ever afters that should piss you off.”

(I could probably fill the whole blog post up with the quotes but.. Eh where would I put my review then? :P )

Let me just start by saying I hadn't been excited about a book like I was about this one in a long time. And that was before I was even done with the book. Then I hit that roller coaster point where everything simple went out and spun out of control. When I finally finished this book I had tears in my eyes. Another thing that doesn't happen normally.
Hopeless takes you on a journey - you laugh, you smirk, you wince, you cry and you just feel...

There are so many things that I liked in the book that I'm not sure what to share and what to keep to myself and let those who haven't taken this journey experience for themselves.
Hopeless is not your typical romance where the bad boy falls in love and gets the girl.  It’s more. So much more. It has a certain appeal that I didn't realize before as to what it was. It has vulnerability and it shows that life isn't all that perfect. People aren't always what they seem; they might be broken for all you know. Let me not blabber much because that is what this book made me want to do. It makes me think and maybe, just maybe make me view people differently.
The writing style and I must say about it because it was written in such a way that it was relatable, that the words flew off the pages and it just felt perfect.

I could go on for hours but let me just wrap it up with this...
Sweet, endearing, thought provoking and real... It would be hopeless trying not to like the book! ;)
Don’t forget to check out the Bonus Chapter which is from Holder’s POV... Trust me you will LOVE it!

Cover Reveal for The Wrong Family by Tarryn Fisher

Blurb: Have you ever been wrong about someone? Juno was wrong about Winnie Crouch. Before moving in with the Crouch family, Jun...
