Review for Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

“The sky is always beautiful. Even when it's dark or rainy or cloudy, it's still beautiful to look at. It's my favourite thing because I know if I ever get lost or lonely or scared, I just have to look up and it'll be there no matter what...and I know it'll always be beautiful.”

“The things that knock you down in life are tests, forcing you to make a choice between giving in and remaining on the ground or wiping the dirt off and standing up even taller than you did before you were knocked down. I'm choosing to stand up taller.”

“Its real, Six. You can't get mad at a real ending. Some of them are ugly. Its the fake happily ever afters that should piss you off.”

(I could probably fill the whole blog post up with the quotes but.. Eh where would I put my review then? :P )

Let me just start by saying I hadn't been excited about a book like I was about this one in a long time. And that was before I was even done with the book. Then I hit that roller coaster point where everything simple went out and spun out of control. When I finally finished this book I had tears in my eyes. Another thing that doesn't happen normally.
Hopeless takes you on a journey - you laugh, you smirk, you wince, you cry and you just feel...

There are so many things that I liked in the book that I'm not sure what to share and what to keep to myself and let those who haven't taken this journey experience for themselves.
Hopeless is not your typical romance where the bad boy falls in love and gets the girl.  It’s more. So much more. It has a certain appeal that I didn't realize before as to what it was. It has vulnerability and it shows that life isn't all that perfect. People aren't always what they seem; they might be broken for all you know. Let me not blabber much because that is what this book made me want to do. It makes me think and maybe, just maybe make me view people differently.
The writing style and I must say about it because it was written in such a way that it was relatable, that the words flew off the pages and it just felt perfect.

I could go on for hours but let me just wrap it up with this...
Sweet, endearing, thought provoking and real... It would be hopeless trying not to like the book! ;)
Don’t forget to check out the Bonus Chapter which is from Holder’s POV... Trust me you will LOVE it!

Till Later.. Take Care!
