Love Lines follows the story of Eileen Clark, who was supposed to head off to a normal college and have a normal life; but she is invited to join the ranks at Dever, a university for the magical and supernatural. Now nothing in Eileen's life is remotely normal, she struggles to adjust and soak in all the new information about this world she never knew existed, a love so powerful and enemies already out to get her.Diana Nixon has created yet another enchanting book world to keep her readers completely engaged in the story.
One of the things that I like about this author's work is that the reactions of the characters are reasonable and actually not that different from how any of us would react if we were in that place. Which lets us understand the characters better and connect to the story.
I loved the descriptions of Dever I could almost imagine how it looked! (and this isn't something I can do all the time! :P )
This is one of the books that I would love to see as a movie because well the effects would be fantastic!
Another thing I loved about this book are the little legends mentioned in the books, I think it adds more to the whole book world.
Just one thing that I would say is I wish it was a tad more polished! It would have made the whole reading experience better.
Overall - A beautiful and engaging story full of mystery and magic.
