Review for The Spirit Box

The Spirit Box by JH Glaze

"Years before this fateful day, servants of the king had constructed the Spirit Box of dark clay, sacrificial blood, and ash. The facial features of Torakel had been carved into the front of the box just as the legend had instructed. The likeness to the living ruler was remarkable and haunting. So lifelike in fact was the face of the king on the box, that when an observer moved within the room where it sat displayed upon a specially carved table, it’s lifeless eyes seemed to follow."

Paranormal and Thrillers have always been my favorite genre! The Spirit Box was such an amazing read ‘coz it combined both of my favorite genres and made it into an amazing, un-put-downable story! I couldn’t wait to get back home and read what would happen next. It had the most unexpected twists and kept me hooked till the end... The characters seemed realistic and somehow relatable. The detailed descriptions of the scenes and the places were just amazing. It was like I could actually imagine it..
The prologue itself draws you in, making you want to read and know what happens next. It’s a well paced novel which combines mystery, humor and the paranormal... I’d definitely recommend this book. It’s a must read!!
And oh don’t look inside the box! ;)

The Spirit Box is the first book in the series of “The Paranormal Adventures of John Hazard”. The sequels Northwest is already out and Send No Angel is to be out soon!
I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from this author!!
