Review for The Citizens by L.M. Smith!

God! I've been so lazy and so forgetful!! I haven't updated all my reviews here at all!!
I'll get to it like soon! :) One review at a time! ;)
For now here's my review of an AWESOME book that makes it to my list of favorite reads in 2012!

The Citizens (A Jazz Nemesis Novel) by LM Smith

Well here is a book like no other. The Citizens by LM Smith is one book which is just amazing! Five people who don’t know each other are thrown into a deserted town - Kolob in the middle of nowhere. They have no clue how they got there, where they are and what is going to happen. All five of them – Jazz, Beck, Piper, Kaori and Gordon - have nothing in common that would help them understand why they were taken. All they know is that they have to escape... But can they?
This very different story, a very different take on the fabled ‘end of the world’ – 12-21-12 is unlike any other novels I’ve ever read! Entertaining, Exciting, Unique and Fast Paced with something very different in every chapter; left me wanting to read more. Just when you think you have figured out what is going to happen there is another twist! I loved the writing style and it had me captivated in the first few chapters itself. The characters are well developed and believable. I really don’t want to say much here and give out spoilers. This one is now on my top best reads of 2012 list! And I think I’d definitely add it to the re-read pile!!
I can’t say enough about how good this book is, but it’s just too good!!! And the end!! I just hope the next one comes out soon!

Review for The Sidekick Chronicles by Stacey Rourke

The Sidekick Chronicles by Stacey Rourke

Book Description:
Celeste isn't the only member of the Garrett family whose life changed when destiny called. Every sidekick has their tale and in this Gryphon Series short the spotlight is turned on Kendall, Grams and even Gabe. Get an inside look at the hilarious stress that goes along with being a...sidekick.

Sidekicks...ya can't live with 'em and you'd probably die horribly without 'em.

Review
Let me just say - Love, love, love! The Sidekick Chronicles is a short novella where Celeste takes a little time off the spotlight and Kendall, Gabe and Grams step in. This novella lets the readers get to know the ‘sidekicks’ a little more. It had me laughing right from the start and it just kept getting better. Although I adore all the characters and everything about the series, I’ll have to say so far Kendall’s swan scene was my absolute favorite!! You all just need to read this to find out!

The Wicked Blog Tour: Review for Wicked Fate by Tabatha Vargo

Wicked Fate by Tabatha Vargo

Blurb:
What if you lived in fear of yourself?
For Mage McPherson being afraid of herself is just the norm. Thanks to that fear, being a loner in a small town never bothered the mysterious Mage. Once she received her secret abilities, she figured being alone was the safest way to be. That all changes during her sophomore year at Summerville High when Adam, her equally mysterious secret crush, starts to notice her.
Afraid that she might harm Adam, Mage must learn to either control or deny herself. With Adam by her side she’s more powerful than she’s ever been, but is she powerful enough to defeat her worst nightmare? She learns a hard lesson about love and magic when her destiny comes to collect.

Review:

"There’s not really a polite way to put it, but apparently, not being like everyone else is completely unacceptable. Who knew?"

Madge McPherson is unlike the others. Alone with only a grandpa that doesn't remember who she is, Madge has to take care of herself. But is she really alone?
At school Madge is a loner. No one talks to her no one even looks at her. When the new school year begins Madge hopes it would be different this year. She is about to get her wish fulfilled and then some. A new friend – Bernie who’s just so bubbly and full of life that it makes her give in and then comes the boy she has been crushing on since second grade – Adam – takes notice. Things definitely have changed for her this year.
Madge is different, she is special. She has always been special but she will find out just how special she is when she turns 16. That’s when her world will turn upside down and everything as it was will change again.
I absolutely loved Tabatha Vargo’s writing style. The book is very well written and made me feel like I was right there! I loved the titles and the quirky little graphics that were there along them (Yes I love weird little details, makes it more special!). And well how can I forget the cover! *-* This is one of those books that can be judged by the cover. The book made me smile and laugh and angry too... Just everything you can hope for in a good book. My favorite part would be the lines from her journal...

This one definitely goes in my re-read pile and my top 10 favorite books of the year! Before I start giving out spoilers and such – JUST GO GET THIS BOOK ALREADY!! Its that good!

Author Bio:
Tabatha has been writing since she could pick up a pencil. Her first publication was a little poem in her elementary school paper, from that point on she was hooked. When she was a teenager, she traded in her girly magazines for personalized writing notebooks. At nineteen, she met her own personal prince charming and writing took a back burner for a while. She is now married to that prince and the mother of a beautiful Six year old princess/rock star. Once her daughter was born, writing came back into her life, and she finished her very first novel in May of 2009.She is pursuing a Bachelors in English and hopes to one day teach while continuing to write. As a stay-at-home mom and full-time student, Tabatha enjoys the freedom of spending a good bit of her days doing what she loves the most…writing.
